Mâmawipaýiwin, the Cree word for togetherness, supports children, youth, and families to become actively involved in a cultural life.
Families have access to culturally rooted programs and services ensuring all individuals have the opportunity to learn and practice culture. The program collaborates with Indigenous people, Elders, and knowledge keepers, using the principles of Circle Process, Truth and Reconciliation, Relational Accountability, and Ceremony. Programming reflects the holistic nature of the Indigenous worldviews, which considers the context and connection of children, family, and community well-being.
