Family Development Program Staff

POSITION: Family Development, Youth Development

  • Part Time/Full Time hours – Contracted Service Provider

We have flexible weekday, weekends, and evenings supports, serving Wetaskiwin, Ponoka, Camrose, and areas. We offer competitive hourly contracting rates.

  • Proven ability to engage people and facilitate positive interactions
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and communication skills

JOB DUTIES

  • Teach and model skills
  • Observe, redirect and support interactions
  • Support community connections
  • Transport children and families
  • Report documentation

Early Child Care Educator

POSITION: Early Child Care Educator

Full time position

Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe, secure, loving environment
• Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programming based on current
child development knowledge and appropriate early childhood practices
• Showing initiative, being energetic

Qualifications:
• Early Childhood Educator Level 1/Level 2/Level 3
• Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations
• Experience working with children 12 months to 6 yrs old
• Criminal Record Check & Child Intervention Check
• First Aid Certification
Wage Grid:
• Early Childhood Educator Level 1 – $15/hr + $2.14/hr (wage top-ups)
• Early Childhood Educator 2 – $17.50/hr + $4.05/hr (wage top-ups)
• Early Childhood Educator Level 3 – $19/hr + $6.62/hr (wage top-ups)

This is a full -time position, that will remain open until the suitable candidate is hired.
